About the event

Come and help us restore one of the last remaining ancient woodlands on the River Petteril. We will be working to restore and maintain open areas and controlling the invasive Himalayan balsam.

Know before you go

Mobility

A long walk, with narrow and steep sections of pathway and steps. We will be working amongst areas of dense vegetation. No toilet facilities available on site.

What to bring

Please ensure that you bring suitable clothing and protection with you, such as a waterproof jacket and trousers, spare clothing, sturdy footwear, your own work gloves, sun hat and sunscreen. You'll also need a packed lunch and refreshments for the day.
