About the event
Join us for an adventure into the (fairly shallow) depths of Parton’s rockpools, and help look for crabs, anemones, starfish, seaweeds, and all kinds of coastal critters who call this area their home.
The event will start with a briefing at the meeting point, before we head over the rocky shore to a large outcrop on Tanyard Beach. Here, we'll find lots of interesting rockpools full of marine life! We’ll spend around 2 hours searching the shore, before regrouping to share what we’ve found.
Children of all ages are welcome provided they are supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
No prior knowledge of marine life needed – we’ll bring everything you need.
See you on the shore!
