Berrier, between Greystoke and Mungrisdale. Meet at the Trust’s car park on the left after passing through the hamlet of Berrier coming from the A66. GR: NY 394 302

About the event

Help us take care of our young woodland where planted trees are now reaching an age and size that tree tubes/protection can be removed and taken off site, allowing the woodland to keep thriving.

Where: Eycott Hill Nature Reserve, Berrier, Penrith CA11 0XD.

Know before you go

What to bring

Please wear suitable layered warm clothing (and bring waterproof jacket and trousers), suitable sturdy footwear for the site and work gloves. You will also need drinks and snacks and a packed lunch.

Long walks over a mix of steep, rocky and wet terrain makes good waterproof footwear with ankle support essential. No toilet facilities available.
