Gift Aid is reclaimed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust from the tax that I pay for the current tax year. If I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations, it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Cumbria Wildlife Trust will reclaim 25p in tax back for every £1 I donate. When selecting Gift Aid, I declare the following applies: • I’m donating my own money and the funds are not as a result of a contribution made by anyone else (including family, or colleagues) and are not as part of a bucket collection. • The money I’m donating is not the proceeds from the sale of tickets, goods or services. • I have not accepted anything in return for this donation, for instance a raffle ticket or an entry ticket to an event.
