About the event

Perched on the side of Whitbarrow, come and help manage this wonderful nature reserve for its rare butterflies.  We will be mainly strimming and raking the central ride to create and enhance flower rich grassland.

What to bring

Please wear suitable layered warm clothing (and bring waterproof jacket and trousers), suitable sturdy footwear for the site and work gloves. You will also need drinks and snacks and a packed lunch.

The reserve is 20 minutes' walk from the parking area, and the path is rough and muddy with a steep rocky section.
