About the event

Samantha O’Key is the Wildlife and Environmental Crime Coordinator working as part of the Rural Crime Team for Cumbria Police.

She carries out and advises on investigations into all forms of wildlife and environmental crime across the county. This involves everything from planning and executing warrants for animal cruelty offences to investigating crimes involving animal persecution and habitat destruction.

Samantha’s team works with other agencies to target wildlife crime, and the talk will explain how this fits in with the national strategy.
