About the event
Come and join the ‘keepers of the moss’ as we venture out onto the bog to carry out practical conservation as part of the ongoing management following the peatland restoration. Tasks include removing scrub vegetation and invasive species as well as other practical tasks and repair work around the reserve.
The ground is very damp and incredibly uneven. Wellingtons are vital. Please bring waterproofs, warm clothing, work gloves if you have them and a packed lunch.
We will meet at Foulshaw Moss and car share as parking is limited at at Meathop Moss.
