About the event

We will be continuing the control of the invasive, non-native rhododendron infestation in Black Beck Wood. This involves cutting the stems with hand tools and pulling up the rooted branches. There will be no power tools or fires. Work for as short or long a period as you like. Optional walk through the woodland after lunch to see some of its interesting features such as the reedbed and Rusland Pool river.
