Inov-8, who specialise in running, hiking and fitness gear, have become corporate members of the Trust and have been awarded platinum level in recognition of the generous donations they have already made to us.

In December 2020 they raised £9,600 through a pre-Christmas Green Friday sales initiative on the inov-8 website, which will be spent on carbon reduction projects, including planting trees and restoring peatbogs. 

They donated a further £2,400 in February 2021 from their Christmas and New Year running challenge, Run for the Hills, which encouraged people to get out and run during the festive period. 

Michelle Waller, Senior Development Officer for Cumbria  Wildlife Trust, said: "inov-8 have been very supportive of the Trust in the past year, helping conservation work at Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve and Staveley Woodlands, so we're delighted to welcome them as corporate members. In recognition of their fabulous support, they are at our highest level of corporate membership, which is platinum. We hope this will develop into a long and healthy partnership and look forward to the future. Corporate membership shows a company's commitment to wildlife and the environment, by supporting Cumbria Wildlife Trust, a leading voice for conservation in the region."
