In March I’ve had a last push on my peatland surveys at Black Beck and been on an amazing bird ID course down in Suffolk.
This month, February, has flown by! I’ve enjoyed several sunny days, witnessed some drone action and helped with the recruitment process for the next six marine trainees.
I’ve had a busy month in January, working on various projects and have been battling against the elements to try and make some more progress with my bog surveys.
Christmas has soon been and gone but I have come back at full pace ready to do as much as I can before my placement ends in April.

We’ve had lots of fun over the last two months working with Prism Arts and primary school children from St Herbert’s in Keswick, Greystoke and Penruddock on the fantastic arts programme.
In October I have taken advantage of the unseasonably warm and sunny weather by getting outdoors as much as possible, surveying wetlands and getting some birding in!
